AAR Certification Requirements Have Changed
As a result of significant changes to Appendix B, there are wide-reaching ramifications that will impact shipper loading facilities. As stated in the revised standards, beginning January 1, 2020, a shipper loading facility will be required to have an AAR tank car facility certification to perform certain routine maintenance tasks on tank cars.
