First, let me say a big thank you to all of the Rescar/AIITranstek employees for all of your efforts. So far we have had very few employees missing work for any illnesses. However, we are likely a few weeks (or more) away from the peak of this pandemic so we need to "double down" on our commitment to maintaining the personal hygiene, workplace cleaning and disinfecting, and "social distancing" measure we have in place. NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO BECOME COMPLACENT. Continue to Follow Rescar/AIITranstek's Guidelines and the CDC Recommendations:
If your location needs cleaning or disinfecting supplies, or is starting to run low, please let your supervisor know right away so we can order supplies. AND, REMEMBER, for the safety of everyone, employees that are sick should not come in to work. REMINDER COMPANY UPDATES Important employee information, memos, updates, and resource materials are still being posted on the Company websites:
Employees are encouraged to check these sites frequently for important updates and helpful information. PAID SICK LEAVE/EFMLA Paid sick leave is available for those who qualify and, effective April 1, 2020, for those who may need additional leave after paid sick leave has ended, the Emergency Family Medical Leave Act (EFMLA) will apply. This leave only applies to those who are unable to work because they are caring for school aged children whose school, or place of care is closed (or childcare provider is unavailable) due to COVID-19 related reasons. Employees applying for EFMLA must complete a leave form we will distribute, and provide the applicable, required information and documentation. HEALTH TRACKING LOG The Health Tracking Log we implemented has been, and will continue to be, an important tool in tracking illnesses, monitoring for an COVID-19 exposures or illnesses, and helping us make staffing decisions where needed. All Location Managers need to continue notifying their Regional Managers of any potential issues so the Regional Managers can update the log daily and submit to HR. SHELTER IN PLACE The Essential Business Designation is still in place for Rescar and AIITranstek and there are still no restrictions on your ability to commute to and from your workplace. Nevertheless, the letter regarding our Essential Business Designation is also posted on the Company websites. Anyone who has any problem should contact their supervisor so Rescar/AIITranstek's Senior Management can respond. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY All systems seem to be "GO." Again, if you are experiencing any connectivity or other system problems, please report the same to your supervisor immediately so we can troubleshoot and maintain maximum system availability.
